Barry Redhead is currently working on a revised version of his thriller“Codename: Darwin”.
The novel combines classic suspense with a cinematic narrative style, dark power structures and the question of how far a person can go when their past, guilt and violence catch up with them. At its heart is a story of betrayal, dangerous missions, old scores to settle and a man who, under the name Darwin, becomes entangled in a web of intrigue, threats and deadly decisions. As with his science fiction projects, Barry Redhead approaches the thriller with a strong visual focus: scenes, characters and suspense are created not only through literature, but through the eyes of a filmmaker.
His experience in directing, cinematography and screenplay development also shapes “Codename: Darwin”—a novel that combines pace, atmosphere and cinematic dramaturgy. The current version is undergoing further revision.
